Call for papers from fake academic journal

Along with a random selection of a number of my colleagues, I received an invitation to submit a paper to the grandly if peculiarly named International Journal of Mathematics and Statistics Invention, one of a number of journals from something called the Invention group, which may or may not be connected to the International Invention journal group. If Beall still had his list up, I am confident it would be listed. (International Invention was). Some tells:
  • the name of the journals
  • the random blast of emails soliciting papers
  • the 10 day turn around from submission to publication despite assurances of "double blind peer review"
  • that the email is signed, "with warm regards, Editor-In Chief"
